Kwantlen Creative Writing 1100 Fall 2009 Anthologies
This past term, my Creative Writing classes created class anthologies at the end of the term. The class determined everything about the project except two caveats: 1. Each student must be represented. 2. The work must somehow be available to the public. The young writers worked hard on this project and I'm pleased to present three of these anthologies below:
1. Richmond: sevenlayerdip.blogspot.com/
2. Surrey, Mon/Wed: http://aerodynamicsound.t35.
3. Surrey, Tues/Thurs: http://creativeanthologys11.
In addition a couple of my students from this term have blogs up (are there more of you? If so, let me know!)
Here are the two I know about:
Jason Wong's from my Creative Writing 3110: Poetic Forms and Techniques heinel.dreamwidth.org
Luis A. Valdizon from my Creative Writing 1100 in Richmond: minorublvd.blogspot.com
Finally, we capped this term with a student open mic and readings from myself and poet and teacher, Elizabeth Bachinsky. Fellow traveler Heidi Greco was in the audience and wrote a lovely little review of the night on her blog. I couldn't agree with her sentiments more. There some tremendous artists attending Kwantlen Polytechnic University. I was lucky to be there. outonthebiglimb.blogspot.com
