I've never been to Wisconsin but it must be awesome. They gave us the Green Bay Packers and my buddy, Brian Young, who is one of the unknown American geniuses hiding out in the woods of Northern California. Ray Hsu, poet, artist, social critic, man of great haircuts, went to school there.

On Friday, me and some of the guys from local post hardcore band, Damages, went down to see The Jesus Lizard at the Capitol Hill Block Party. Now, I'm not a big fan, not like the Damages boys, but The Jesus Lizard live shows are legendary, and the Block Party is a very reasonably priced festival. The Lizard were the headliners so we got to see a couple of bands. My favourite was Micachu and the Shapes.
